About Us
A Brief History:
Since 1989, Laser Innovations has proudly provided sales and support of Coherent laser systems. Over the years,
we added support for other recent Coherent model lines. Additionally, in 2005, we added support
for Spectra
Physics/Thermo Laser Science nitrogen lasers.
In order to better serve our domestic and global customers, Laser Innovations purchased a 20,000 square foot
facility in 2004. This has allowed us to expand our capabilities and improve upon what our customers have grown
to expect; superior products, service, and timely support of their new Solid State (266nm, 355nm or 532nm) or
their water-cooled Innova ion laser systems. During the past 25+ years Laser Innovations has serviced all ion
laser models, from the older Coherent CR Supergraphite series, to the current Coherent Innova Laser systems
manufactured today.
Beginning in 2000, we extended our sales, service and support to the latest Coherent has to offer. We provide
IR diode, crystal replacement and general repair and refurbishment of the VERDI, VITTESSE and the AVIA product
lines of Coherent.
In 2005, Laser Innovations began servicing the Spectra Physics/Thermo Laser Science nitrogen lasers, as the
technology and procedures involved were a direct and natural progression of the ion laser services we had already
perfected and provided since 1989. In 2010, Spectra Physics requested several of our remanufactured cartridges
for evaluation. Internal testing concluded the performance of Laser Innovations' nitrogen cartridges were
indistinguishable from their lasers manufactured in-house. In 2011, Spectra Physics ceased production and formally
transferred the product line and the OEM customer base to us. We acquired the complete inventory--laser heads,
optics, new power supplies and other components, in addition to factory test fixtures, diagnostic instruments and
manufacturing documents.
